About Dr. Paul Fanta
Dr. Paul Fanta, MD is a medical oncologist who has an expertise in gastrointestinal cancers. There have been several changes in the diagnosis and treatment of many types of gastrointestinal cancer. The research of Dr. Paul Fanta includes the ways molecular analyses, bioinformatics, biotechnology and pharmocogenomic data can be incorporated in the setting of prospective clinical trials. The results are used to better identify those patients who are capable of receiving benefits from chemotherapy while at the same time avoiding the toxicities from it. That way, a predictive therapeutic strategy unique for each patient is generated.
